Alfred Biolek, German talk show host, entertainer and TV producer, hosted a cooking show on German television station ARD which ran from 1994 to 2006. Into his studio kitchen (modeled after his own private kitchen at home), he welcomed musicians and politicians, actors and anchors, to prepare something from a favorite recipe the guest brought to the show. In episode 16 of the first season which aired on April 23, 1995, Blixa Bargeld was the guest and introduced his host and the TV audience to a sepia risotto. Since Blixa’s appearance in this show has already been mentioned in several articles, most recently in the October 2010 edition of Berlin tip magazine, we are happy to present this video, containing four excerpts from the half hour long show (with English subs).
