Tour news: Alex Hacke & Crime and the City Solution
After a twenty-year hiatus, the wandering minstrels of mayhem, Crime and the City Solution are back with their unique brand of controlled chaos and a new home city: Detroit.
Original members Bronwyn Adams, Simon Bonney, and Alexander Hacke, are joined by new confreres Jim White (drums), David Eugene Edwards (guitar), Danielle de Picciotto (visuals/backround vocals), Matthew Smith (keyboards) and Troy Gregory (bass). The band has recorded a new Album, ‘American Twilight’, in Detroit, April 2012. Following its release on Mute Records in the second half of 2012, Crime will embark on its most extensive tour to date. The world tour will run from the end of 2012 to the end of 2013. The live show will feature new music from American Twilight as well as re-interpretations of songs from the Berlin and London periods.
